Jobs ETC, an initiative of the Suncoast Workforce Board, has a primary job: Finding you a job.
Jobs ETC has partnered with several local community organizations to help local businesses find quality workers seeking gainful employment.
The Women’s Resource Center of Manatee, a not-for-profit organization, works with women map out a successful job search. Now the WRC is providing internet access to potential employers.
WRC will begin offering twice-a-month access to the Mobile Career Opportunity Center, an 11-station computer lab on wheels with satellite internet access.
It will be held from 10 a.m -3 p.m, the first and fourth Wednesday of every month. Job seekers will be able to use the Mobile Career Opportunity Center to conduct online job searches, write resumes and cover letters, assess their work skills, file Unemployment Compensation, Vocational Rehabilitation Service, and Veteran’s and other support services free of charge.

Brown, WRC Executive Director. “This is a time in our community that we have to look at where we can work together to bring the most services to the people who need them.”
